This Hamakua Coffee is grown near the town of Honoka'a famed for sprawling farmland, horse and cow country, and sugar cane on the foot of Mauna Kea. Nothing lives an unhappy life here and growing is good.
This estate is organic and the beans give robust, grassy flavors best for flavorful black coffees or honey sweetened cold brews.

United StatesThe Hamakua coffees from Puna Chocolate is one of the best HI coffees I've had. There are many I have not liked at all. I'm more of a dark roast fan, this is the only medium roast I know of that I love. It's smooth, yes, but also has wonderful flavor. Like a cup of Hawaii in Seattle :-)
