Black walnuts are ubiquitous at this time of year and we love pairing them with our 70 percent dark chocolate. Two strong flavors that work perfectly together. We coat them with honey and sugar and bake them until they are covered in a crunchy praline coating that adds a touch of sweetness.
This chocolate was recently covered in Wine Spectator magazine: "These walnuts bring earthy, savory flavors similar to mushroom. The added sugar cuts that a little, but it is intense and compelling."
